Auto-renewing season ticket: Why does the same employee appear more than once on the same invoice?
With an auto‑renewing season ticket subscription, the ticket is always valid for 30 days, regardless of the number of days in the calendar month. For this reason, the ticket is sometimes charged twice within the same month. The purchase date of an auto‑renewing season ticket is always two days before the start of the new period.
Example: A 30-day season ticket charged on 1 March will be charged again on 30 March, that is, within the same calendar month. As a result, the invoice issued in April correctly shows two purchases:
- Purchase date: 1 March 2023, season ticket valid 3 March–1 April
- Purchase date: 30 March 2023, season ticket valid 2 April–1 May
In the Purchases report in the Business Portal, you can view employee-specific details showing when each ticket was charged and its period of validity.
