Mobility budget settings

Check the mobility budget settings and, if necessary, adjust them before issuing benefits. On the Mobility budget settings page, you can choose whether the mobility budget is issued as a one-off amount or on a monthly basis. These settings apply to all beneficiaries.

Once you have selected how the mobility budget is allocated, you can issue mobility budgets to new beneficiaries on the Add beneficiaries tab and edit the amount of the budget or the benefit validity on the Beneficiaries tab.

If you have not yet added beneficiaries in the Business Portal:

  1. Select the mobility budget allocation frequency
  2. Select whether you want the mobility budget to reset at the turn of the year
  3. Confirm your selections

If you have already added beneficiaries in the Business Portal and want to change the mobility budget settings:

  1. Select the mobility budget allocation frequency
  2. Select the amount of mobility budget to be added to beneficiaries when making the change
  3. Select Mobility budget reset and settings for the turn of the year
  4. Confirm your selections

Select the mobility budget allocation frequency: One-off or monthly mobility budget

A one‑off mobility budget is the default option.

A one-off mobility budget is a flexible option that you can add for your employees as needed throughout the year. For example, employees with an open‑ended employment contract may be allocated a higher amount than fixed‑term seasonal employees.

A monthly mobility budget is a good option when you want to issue employees a fixed amount once a month.

 



When to change the mobility budget allocation?

If you have previously issued a one‑off mobility budget and want to switch to a monthly mobility budget, it is advisable to make the change at the turn of the calendar year. Switching from a one‑off mobility budget to a monthly mobility budget resets the mobility budget available to employees. After the reset, employees will receive a new monthly mobility budget on the first day of the following month.

Switching from a monthly mobility budget to a one‑off mobility budget resets the beneficiary’s unused mobility budget. The beneficiary will then receive a new mobility budget.

Please note that any change you make to the benefit settings takes effect immediately and remains valid until further notice.

Turn of the year

Mobility budget is reset at the turn of the year

Select the settings you want under Mobility budget reset. By default, the mobility budget is reset at the turn of the year.

Mobility budget is reset at the turn of the year:

If you have selected a monthly mobility budget, the same monthly amount will continue to be issued to beneficiaries in the following calendar year.

Mobility budget is not reset at the turn of the year:

Any unused mobility budget from the current calendar year remains available to beneficiaries in the following year.
If you have selected a monthly mobility budget, the same monthly amount will continue to be issued to beneficiaries in the following calendar year.
