Light rail 15 travel survey

In autumn 2024, we examined the direction of journeys in the catchment area of light rail 15. We studied from where to where customers travel, what modes of transport they use, and how the direction of travel varies on different days of the week and at different times of the day.

We will use the survey results to assess the impacts of the light rail line, prepare the Helsinki Region Transport System Plan, and manage and develop traffic forecast models.

Survey invitation cards distributed on public transport

Survey invitations were distributed to passengers on light rail line 15 and on train, Metro and bus routes that intersect with it.

The respondents documented the journey they were making when they received the survey invitation.
