Personal recommendations

The HSL app will become even more personal. The app may recommend a more suitable or more affordable ticket based on your earlier journeys, as well as display benefits and topical tips tailored just for you.

The recommendations are displayed in the Home view, during ticket purchase, and in the Journey Planner. In the same places, you may also see more general campaign highlights. You can see up to three pieces of content selected for you at a time.

The feature is included in HSL app version 7.0.0 or later (released in February 2026).

Metro entrances

A feature familiar from the browser-based Journey Planner is now in the app!

When you view a route, the app shows which entrances and exits to use, making it easier to navigate, especially at new Metro stations.

The map also displays underground walking sections (white dots on a grey background).

This feature is available in version 6.13.0, published in November 2025.

Multiple multi-journey ticket

You can now buy several multi-journey tickets at the same time. The tickets are shown one below the other in the app and can be expanded or collapsed using the arrow.

The app reminds you if you already have a multi-journey ticket when you start buying a new one, but you can still complete the purchase.

Multi-journey tickets are personal, and you must complete strong authentication to buy them.

This feature is available in version 6.13.0, published in November 2025.
