Good to know about multi-journey tickets

  • The offer for an extended validity period applies to 10-journey tickets purchased via the HSL app between 0.01am 16 March 2026 and 11.59pm 29 March 2026. The offer applies to 10-journey tickets for all zones: AB, BC, CD, D, ABC, BCD, ABCD.
  • The extended validity period is included in the regular price of the 10-journey ticket. The offer does not provide an extra ticket; instead, it gives you 60 days to use all the journeys on the ticket, compared to the standard 30 days.
  • 10-journey tickets purchased during the campaign are valid for 60 calendar days, including the day of purchase (normally 30 days).
  • You can buy a 10- or 20- journey ticket; the price per ticket is cheaper than individual single tickets.
  • Multi-journey tickets are only available via the HSL app.
  • Multi-journey tickets are personal. You need to complete strong authentication to buy a multi-journey ticket.
  • You can buy several multi-journey tickets that are valid at the same time, but you can activate only one single ticket at a time.
  • Multi-journey tickets are only available for adults.
  • A 10-journey ticket is normally valid for 30 calendar days, including the date of purchase.
  • A 20-journey ticket is valid for 60 calendar days, including the date of purchase.

How to buy a multi-journey ticket

1. Open the HSL app on your phone and go to "Tickets". Read more about the HSL app.

2. Select "Multi-journey ticket".

3. Read the instructions and click on "Accept and continue".

4. Authenticate strongly.

5. Select the desired zones. Please note that you cannot change the validity area of the ticket after purchase. More information about zones. 

6. Select customer group "Adult".

7. Select the desired multi-journey ticket: 10 or 20 journeys.

8. Select the payment method and pay.

How to use a multi-journey ticket

  1. On the HSL app, go to "Tickets".
  2. Once you have purchased a multi-journey ticket, the ticket will show in the "Your tickets" view.
  3. In the "Your tickets" view, you can see the zones of your multi-journey ticket, the expiry time of the ticket and the number of remaining single tickets.
  4. When you want to use a single ticket, click "Activate ticket". You can only activate one single ticket at a time.
  5. The app will notify you that you have an active single ticket. The ticket will appear under your multi-journey ticket in the "Your tickets" view.
  6. The app shows you the active single ticket, its validity area and validity time. The validity time of the tickets is the same as for single tickets purchased individually.
