Did you get a penalty fare? On this page, you'll find instructions on how to pay your penalty fare, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

If you believe that the penalty fare you received to be unjustified, you can submit an appeal using the form found at the end of this page.

Paying a penalty fare

Pay your penalty fare as a credit transfer using the payment details found on the penalty fare notice. Always use a reference number to ensure that the payment is assigned correctly.

How to pay a penalty fare

You can pay your penalty fare in your own bank’s online service or at a bank branch.

The due date and reference number are printed on the penalty fare notice.

Always use a reference number.

Do not write any message in the message field.

Pay the penalty fare by the due date.
If the due date has passed, contact HSL’s customer service before making the payment.
