Did you get a penalty fare? On this page, you'll find instructions on how to pay your penalty fare, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

If you believe that the penalty fare you received is unjustified, you can submit an appeal using the form at the end of this page.

Paying a penalty fare

Pay your penalty fare by bank transfer using the payment details on the penalty fare notice. Always use the reference number to ensure that the payment is assigned correctly.

How to pay a penalty fare

You can pay your penalty fare:

  • in your own bank’s online banking service, or
  • at a bank branch.

Use the following payment details:

Amount: €100


The due date and reference number are printed on the penalty fare notice.

Always use the reference number.

Do not write anything in the message field.

Pay the penalty fare by the due date.
If the due date has passed, contact HSL’s customer service before making the payment.
