By authenticating you verify both your identity and your HSL account
This page contains information about strong authentication. You only need to authenticate once. If you have already purchased tickets that require strong authentication or have an HSL card, you have probably already completed strong authentication. You can check your authentication status under “My information” in your HSL account.
What do you need for electronic authentication?
We use Suomi.fi authentication. You can authenticate using your personal online banking credentials, a mobile certificate, an ID card with a citizen certificate, or the hightrust.id mobile app. More information Suomi.fi.
Authenticating at a service point
At the HSL or a municipal service point, you will need to present an ID document. A guardian can also authenticate on behalf of a child using their own ID.
