Day tickets - One-day tickets now at a discounted price, from 7 €

• The offer applies to one-day tickets purchased via the HSL app or OpenMaaS interfaces between 12.01am on 22 September 2026 and 11.59pm on 4 October 2026. The offer covers adult tickets for all zones: AB, BC, CD, DE, ABC, BCD, CDE, ABCD, BCDE and ABCDE.
• All customers can buy day tickets at the discounted price. Campaign tickets are also available for more than one day.
• If you can’t see the campaign price in the HSL app, update the app on your phone to the latest version.
• You can also use a fringe benefit provided by your employer to pay for your day ticket. Read more about how to use fringe benefits.

If you need fewer than 20 day tickets, you can buy them:

• using the HSL app. Please note that you must complete the entire journey together. Buy the day tickets one at a time. You can view all of them on the "Your ticket" tab.
• at the HSL or a municipal service or a sales point

If you need more than 20 day tickets at once and you have a business ID, order the tickets in advance.

You can buy day tickets in advance at sales and service points. The tickets become valid when you show the card to a card reader at the start of your journey.

Until 21 September, day tickets are loaded onto disposable cardboard cards. These cards can be used until 31 December 2025. Starting 24 September, day tickets will be issued as QR code tickets.

At the start of your first journey, show your card or QR code ticket to a card reader on board or at a station. You only need to show the card or QR code to the reader—no need to press any buttons. The reader will beep, and the display will show the ticket information. You can check the expiry time of your ticket at any time by showing your card or ticket to a reader.

The ticket becomes valid when you show it to a card reader at the beginning of your first journey. After that, you only need to show the ticket on the blue buses. On trains, trams and the Metro, you only need to show your ticket if asked by a conductor or ticket inspector.

Some ticket machines also sell one-day tickets.

The Helsinki Card is a city card with a number of benefits, including free entry to various museums and attractions as well as discounts on services and shopping. Moreover, the card entitles you to unlimited travel on HSL public transport for one to three days. Helsinki Card City is valid for zones A and B, while Helsinki Card Region is valid for zones A, B and C.
