Multi-user HSL cards and old personal HSL cards are no longer in use
Multi-user HSL cards and personal HSL cards that had not been used for a long time were discontinued on 21 September 2025. It is no longer possible to claim a refund for these cards. Refunds for unused value or tickets could be claimed until 31 December 2025.
If you have topped up your personal HSL card with season tickets or value or have used the card to purchase a single ticket at a card reader in 2023, 2024, or 2025, you can continue to use the card as usual.

NB! If a multi-user HSL card has been added to your HSL account after September 2025, meaning that it has been reactivated, the search function may show that your card is not in use. However, you can use the card as usual.
Why were certain HSL cards discontinued?
Following our ticketing overhaul, we simplified the array of tickets and removed HSL cards that had not been used for a long time as well as all multi-user HSL cards from our system. All HSL cards are now personal and can be easily topped up online in the HSL Ticket Store.
